Just picked up a Lakland Skyline 44 02. One of the MIK versions. Got it at a good price, probably due to a sizeable finish crack on the front. I wondered if any of the highly knowledgable folks here know for sure what the finish material is on this beast? It looks like the poly cracks typical of an Ovation. But before I go flooding it with CA, thought I'd check with y'all.

Ye Gods, man! Don't worry about it. Just play the crap out of the darn thing. Should be awesome.

It is most likely a poly but it is easy enough to test....... just pick a spot that won't be seen like under the pick guard and take a q-tip with some acetone and blot the surface. If it leaves a mark it is nitro and if it doesn't it is some type of poly.
